Simply put, as a local resident of Brown County, I was moved by a Brown County Jail Ministries (B.C.J.M.) radio ad of a former inmate who shared his Jesus journey on air. From that day forward I felt drawn to the B.C.J.M. and am blessed to be able to serve on the board since 2021.
I have served in many roles, including Secretary and acting Vice President, but mostly enjoy finding a need and filling it. This might mean providing thought leadership ideas to our Board President, writing a grant, helping to create our operating plan, or simply lifting our inmates and officers up in prayer.
I am thankful to be a wife and a mom to three young adults and am honored to share my 26+ years of leadership with such a worthwhile endeavor at the B.C.J.M.
HEBREWS 13:1-3
"Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters. Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering."
